Almost every aspect of Government policy of Great Britain, including education, health, law and order, social security affects the well-being of young people and shapes their future.

Education and training are among the Government’s priority responsibilities for young people. Learning how to live and behave in multi-racial society, how to respect and support each other, how to make a contribution, how to appreciate both spiritual and material qualities of life – these “life skills” and moral factors fall to parents, friends, school and city community.

Within these communities – at local, regional and national levels – hundreds of voluntary youth groups and organizations play an active role in the life of young people in Britain. These voluntary organizations include:

· Religious groups

· Ethnic minority groups –organizations of youth in Diasporas

· Organizations providing sporting and outdoor activities or hobbies (path-walkers, mountain-climbers)

· Groups focusing on activities for people with disabilities.

The British government encourages young people to get good education and training.

The influence of social organizations in Britain is negative.

There are few voluntary organizations in Great Britain.

Participation in different youth organizations and groups help young people to learn “life skills”.
